The Extreme Programming Workshop      

You may have already read a bit about the distinguished partners that are a part of our team. When we looked at putting together a collaborative workshop on eXtreme Programming, we realized there was no reason to do so as our long-term colleague and collaborator Joshua Kerievsky had already designed and developed one. We work with Industrial Logic to continue to refine the workshop and are the exclusive licensee of this workshop for North Carolina.

The Extreme Programming Workshop from Industrial Logic is a week long immersion experience into Extreme Programming. (We also offer a 3 or 4 day version of this workshop, but recommend the 5-day for a more thorough experience). This experience allows participants to experience many of the extreme practices in a controlled environment with the goal of being equipped to apply it in their everyday environment once the workshop is finished. A workshop of this type provides the participants a way to experience XP from concept and team formation to an actual deliverable without impedance of technology issues. The first 2-3 days are spent focused in less technical simulations and other experiences that get the heads of the participants wrapped around the concepts without getting distracted by the technical details. The final days apply the practices to the technology which will be used by the participants on their day-to-day jobs.
